Online Silent Auction
A silent auction allows you to view and read about auction items and bid online throughout the duration of the auction. The highest bid for each item is displayed. At the end of the auction, the highest bidder on an item will win that item. All proceeds go to United Way and must be paid by check, cashier's check or money order within 10 days of the close of auction (unless other arrangements are made). Items will be available for pickup by the end of November.
To view the items, click the "place bid" button. Your NetID and password will log you into the system. Please note that the only tax-deductible part of the auction is the amount that exceeds the value of the item. For instance, if you are bidding on Houston Grand Opera tickets worth $150 and you pay $200, $50 is the tax-deductible amount. Contact the campaign coordinator with questions. The auction ends Friday, November 16 at midnight.
