The Rice Student Ambassador program was established in 1993 to provide a volunteer corps of Rice students with the skills and training necessary to help execute special university functions and represent the university at events both on campus and elsewhere. Over the years, the Rice Student Ambassador program has evolved. In addition to fulfilling the original program goals, Rice Student Ambassadors assist with visits to campus by international dignitaries and other VIPs as well as by guests from the Institute for International Education. They also provide campus tours to school children and community organizations visiting Rice University.
Rice Student Ambassadors are drawn from all residential colleges, academic disciplines, and class years. The size of the Rice Ambassador corps is maintained at 60 students.
We are looking for bright, interesting and motivated students to help represent Rice University as a Rice Student Ambassador. To learn more about the Rice Student Ambassador program, please
